The rate is usually slight better than average. I see their
rate as the barometer for all other accounts. Emigrant is
usually the first one to move their rates and all other players
follow. They are very responsive with their rate moves. If
the Fed makes an announcement on Tuesday that affects markets,
you can be sure to see a rate change from Emigrant by the
end of the week.
They provide a great deal of security. It's a solid product,
if you don't need a great deal of access to your funds. I
would rate them higher, if we had more access to our money.
